We treat his classmates with a McDo meal, a Red Ribbon cake, lootbag with candies and few toys! It was so much fun, his classmates sang Happy Birthday to him and they were all excited and happy for Riley! After his school treat, we went to Kidzoona with his cousin Zane. Then in the evening, our family dine in at Kenny Rogers. It was a simple celebration and yet it was meaningful and real. Riley is so easy to please, and his hug and kiss and words of gratitude says how much he enjoyed his birthday celebration. In fact, he told me that this day is the "best day ever" with tears in his eyes. When I asked him why is he crying, he told me "It's happy tears, mama." That melts my heart. I love him sooo much. I'm glad he enjoyed what I planned for his birthday. Anyway, here are some of the pictures of this memorable event:
While I was wrapping your gift last night, I was filled with overwhelming emotion that I cried, something that I haven't done in long while. I don't know why. I am just sooooo happy! I'm so happy for the person that you are. I am so happy for the way things are with our lives. It's not perfect nor the most ideal. But I wouldn't exchange it for anything in the world! And even if it's mostly just the two of us, you have given me everything I need and more. I love you so much its scares me sometimes. I know nothing last forever. But one thing I am sure of. My love for you will last until the end of time. I love you more than words can ever say. I love you anak. Happy birthday my love!!!
Love,
mama
