Merry Christmas To Us!

a new book, a straighter hair, new lens for my camera, a new eyeglass, and new clothes.
It is indeed a MERRY Christmas to me!

Cliche as it may sound but I waited 'till Christmas to buy and do all these pampering to myself.  I'm not being materialistic but this is my way of rewarding myself. I've been neglecting myself for many months now because 1. my time is consumed taking care of my son all day 2. I only spend money for milk, diapers, vitamins and other things that my son needs and 3. there is no one to improve my look for. :)

But I know, before I can teach my son the importance of self worthy, it should start with me. We shouldn't forget or take for granted our own personal being. May it be a makeover or buying that beautiful dress that flatter you're body or having that relaxing massage and a day in the spa you've been wanting for so long. Go on indulge yourself! Whatever your heart desires, follow it! No one deserves it more than us, my fellow moms! As long as its within our budget, be guiltless of spending a little for yourself.

♥ i love my gifts for myself!

Being beautiful outside is not a bad thing. As long as you know how to groom your inner beauty as well. And with that, we can still help and donate to our fellow Filipinos in Mindanao region due to Bagyong Sendong. I know everything would be alright in due time. Whatever happens, whatever problems we're going through, in good times or bad, we can still all have a Merry Christmas! Merry Christmas to US! Cheers! :)

Getting the Hang of it

At the beginning of 2011, I think I write something about saving money so I can have my very own DSLR. Well, Christmas came early because last July, I was able to buy this FINE piece of gadget that makes the photographer in me come alive. I'm super excited. I already feel like a "professional" photographer just by having a camera like this! Hehe. Although I'm far from being one, I felt that my cam changes my view on things. The ordinary day to day sight has now a different meaning to me. Feeling ko kht ordinaryong pusa, or halaman, or Christmas tree ay nagiging artistic dhil s camera ko.:p Sabi nga ni Yen Baet "In the right light, at the right time, everything is extraordinary." So I just click and click and click anyway. But I know I have sooooo much more to learn. I'm still experimenting and learning about the different functions of it. I'm still getting the hang of it. I'm still figuring out what is aperture, or what is shutter speed or what does f1:8 means. So don't expect I get great result right away. Pagdating ng panahon mgiging magaling din akong potograpo! Wala nmn msama kung mngarap db?

Marami pa ko sasayangin na shot bago ko maachieve ang mga ganitong mga picture.

So if your asking what gadget I want next? An iPhone! Goodluck nlng skin! :p

New Year, New Phone!

I’ve been wanting to buy new cellphone for soooo long. Hehe. Before, cellphone is just for "porma" purposes. But now it is a necessity. You can do a lot with it besides texting. You can listen to music, take a picture, surf the internet, and even watch tv! Cellphones have really evolved throughout the years. I remember my first cellphone, it is the classic 5110. I was so happy when my mom gives it to me as a birthday gift. I feel so techy having it back then. LOL. Technology has come a long way since then. The series of cellphones that I have after Nokia 5110 were: Nokia 3310 (which was stolen), Nokia 8210 (one of my favorite cp despite its simple features), Motorola L6 (the first cellphone I bought from my own money), then my cellphone for more than 3 years now, my SE K610i (my mom will be its new owner) and now my newest companion: Nokia E5.

babay k610i, hello e5!!!

My reason for buying this phone is the 5MP camera. Good enough for taking decent pictures of my son Riley. Another reason is the WLAN features. Good for surfing the net anywhere with signal!

The next gadget I’m gonna save money for: a DSLR camera. Hopefully by the end of this year. ;)

dell or no deal

After weighing the pros and cons, considering the price, and waiting for the best time to buy one, I finally decided to deal on Dell!

I don’t usually buy expensive things so it’s really a big deal. But I know its going to be useful and I believe I deserve it! It’s my way of rewarding myself after working so hard this year. And an early Christmas present for myself. Besides I really enjoy blogging, so what better way to complement it than buying a laptop? Now, I can write whenever I want, wherever I am. I know DI* and I will have a great adventure together!
